Site MascotHere is a breakdown of how our weekly basket delivery program works and what you can expect by signing up with us:

- We operate under a Community Shared Agriculture (CSA) model. When you sign up with us for the season you will be buying a share of what we produce in advance. By adopting this model we will be able to effectively plan out our gardens and, in turn, to reflect your dietary delights.

- If you choose to participate, a basket will be deliverd to a location near to you from mid-June through October. Our designated pick-up locations are listed in the form at the bottom of this page. We are offering two types of shares, a weekly basket and a bi-weekly basket which are $550 and $275 respectively for the season. We expect at least 16 weekly deliveries, but will continue to deliver as long as the season permits.

- If you have purchased a bi-weekly share and find it isn't lasting you till the next delivery there may be opportunity to purchase additional baskets on your odd week. However, this will depend on availability.

- Ultimately, the contents of the baskets will vary throughout the season as our produce matures. Also, keep in mind that the quality of growing seasons differ year to year which can also affect the contents of the baskets. Once the season starts, you have made a commitment to participate knowing there may be variants. However, our goal will be to provide you with a variety of veggies you love in each basket you receive. The bi-weekly basket is intended for singles and couples that eat an average amount of veggies. Weekly baskets are intended to suit the veggie needs of an average family of 3-4 for the week. Vegetarians and veggie lovers who eat vegetables with most meals are encouraged to buy a weekly basket.

- If you will be away and unable to receive a delivery, you may have it dropped off at an alternate pick-up location for a friend.

- Once you sign-up you can fill out the vegetable survey to let us know which veggies you would like to see the most in your baskets. The survey and other interesting features will appear on your pesonal user account page when logged in.

Fruit: As most fruit is perennial and can take years to establish we don't often plant them in our gardens. However, we do encourage people with well established fruit trees and bushes to share their bounty with us. This means that depending on the season we may source out some fruits and berries like apples, pears, plums, raspberries, currents and grapes to add to the baskets. Its more like a welcome surprise in your basket rather then a guarantee. There are a few exceptions if we find the perfect location.
