Our official end of season is scheduled for this Saturday, Oct 15th, where we are hosting a garden turn-down party and lunch potluck. So this is an official invitation to all of you amazing people who would like to come out and spend a couple hours with us preparing our Trinity Church garden for next season. It will be a work day, but it won't be extremely intense and we will have coffee in the morning and a potluck lunch. We started the season with the garden building party and potluck so it seemed fitting to go out that way as well. We'd love to see everyone out, even if it is to just take a peak at the garden and say hello.

The address is 480 Avalon pl, but the parking lot and access to the garden is in the back of the church off of Braydon ave. Do not be confused by the other church on Avalon which also has a garden beside it. You need to continue about a block further to reach Trinity church.

If you plan on working with us for a bit, here are a few items that you could bring if you have them:

- garden tools (shovels, garden rakes, trowels)

- wheel barrows

- all of your organic leaf waste bags (leaves only, no sticks, no pesticides)

Actually if you have leaf bags to share with us, (we use them for compost and mulch) you can bring them to the Trinity garden anytime in the next week and just toss them within the boundary of the garden near the zucchini plants or corn patch. We'd very much appreciate that.

On the day's agenda:
- mulching garden beds with leaf waste

- moving some mushroom compost into some rows

- weeding as much as possible

- composting and probably planting some garlic.
